BtW Info

I have been receiving PMs and Emails both good and bad, mostly hate mails, that are saying quite outrageous things about NRC and the recent closing/cracking of BtW. Below is some of the questions and comments brought to my attention and I would like to put them to rest.

Question: Did you guys (NRC Staff) have anything to do with the cracking of Bleach the World
Answer: No, we were not involved in anyway, nor did we endorse it.

Question: Why was a topic about BtW being hacked made and shown to the public? In fact it was actually advertised in the NRC header.
Answer: Us at NRC have had some "run-ins" with the BtW staff and management. We used to share most of our staff but recent findings have brought us to conclude that some of BtW's Staff were responsible for the two crackings and deletions of NRC in the past (Both of which we recovered from by restoring our system, no posts/members were lost). We were neutral in the "BtW Hate War" until this came up, then we did make a topic when BtW was cracked to show we were more or less happy about it. This does NOT mean, as stated above, that we supported, participated, or endorsed the cracking of BtW in any way.

Comment From Lava's Email: You guys are gonna get cracked because of this, not a smart move.
Answer: We see no reason why we would be, and we are not worried. The NRC security is far greater than Invisionfree's (The Host BtW used). We also keep a database of our posts and members every 24 hours around 6:30 AM EST GMT-5 Time Everyday, so if we were cracked we could restore ourselves to the most recent time the database was saved. Please do not try and crack NRC, it will not work. And please note that trying and/or succeeding in cracking a phpBB2 board is a FEDERAL OFFENSE and it will be reported to the cracker(s) local enforcement agency, this can include a police station, FBI, Online Crime Centers, etc. A local court case will be made and NRC will be supported by Lavathing9's local attorneys and you can serve up to 5 years in prison depending on your country's laws and regulations on online crime.

Question: Do you know who cracked BtW?
Answer: We are not at liberty to release that information, nor can we confirm we know or do not know the identity of the cracker(s).

Question: Where can I get more info no what happened?
Answer: Currently NRC is not releasing anymore info on this situation. You can try contacting the BtW staff and they might be able to help you.

Comment: I have more questions on NRC's stance of certain issues concerning BtW, how can I ask them?
Answer: Post in this topic or email Lavathing9 at lavathing@rochester.rr.com . Hate mail will be deleted and reported, do not try it.
