Jun was slightly impressed coming up on the massive gates of Kumogakure, or maybe is was a massive sign of relief after traveling up the mountain for miles. Although he was weary, he felt as if he didn't need a break, so he pressed forward. A guard that was posted on the watch tower jumped down in front of Jun.

"What business does a shinobi of Kirigakure have here?" he asked.

"I'm on a mission, I'm only passing through," Jun replied.

"Proof?"

Jun took out the mission scroll and tossed it at him. After careful review, the guard allowed him past the gates of Kumogakure. Jun took back the scroll, and made his first steps in the village.

Jun stepped through the village quietly, unnoticed. Although he had walked past a few shinobi, Jun walked passed them without more than a second glance, "Really? A Kirigakure shinobi poses no concern to the shinobi of Kumogakure? Not even a slight bit of interest? Hmph," he walked with his eyes closed, no longer interested in the village. He followed his ears, and continued his path down the village. The temperature was at an insanely low temperature, and all Jun wanted to do was make it down the mountain, and close in on the races.

His hands were becoming numb, so he slipped them in the sleeves of his robe. His lungs weren't used to the air so icy, after traveling for the whole day, he easily concluded this was the worst part. His breathes were short, and his body trembled. He figured the shinobi here must have a high tolerance to cold, especially if they must train under these conditions.

He was almost at the other side of the village, and when he opened his eyes, what he saw caught him off guard.

The northern gate was shattered, and compared to how well the southern gate was constructed, it looked as is if it was in the process of being rebuilt. The watchtower was collapsed, and the wall was in pieces on the ground. There were two guards that stood on opposite ends of the damage, carefully watching for people who were entering and exiting the village. Jun exited the village without one word being said.
