The Specialists is a Half-Life 1 Mod that employs a excellent kung-fu attack system and once combined with a certain degree of role-play plug-ins it makes a unbeatable role-play mod. Naruto Role-Play is a hard to grasp concept for some and it consists of role-playing that employs the 'The Specialists' kung-fu system and its chat system into creating a one of a kind role-play system. The culture and traditions of Naruto Role-Play in 'The Specialists' derives from Japanese culture just like in the manga/anime.

Naruto Role-Play consists of down to the very bone detailed role-playing from breaking a ankle to being killed. There's many things you can do in this such as work at a shop or even own a shop, enroll yourself into the ninja academy and embark upon your greatest adventures to become Kage of the village. Many things naruto role-play has to offer you is good rp, great Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Taijutsu effects along with the Ninja Academy, Missions, set-situations of role-play, custom clans with any custom techniques you could think of and the best part of it is that 'YOU' could lead it. There's also organizations, special missions, special privileges, and custom fitting gear such as headbands and vests. Anything that's a symbol of rank you could wear! We also have ANBU masks. In our server you can summon basic pets such as hounds, cats, or even monkeys all the way up to large toads! Your imagination is your best friend on the game and the sky's the limit!

Just like the Naruto anime/manga our role-play consists of all the ninja ranks that you can obtain with a rank system that goes from Academy Student all the way to Kage of the village. There's many things you can do in the server and the sky's the limit.

The below is what you can obtain or do in the server.

-You can obtain any rank in the ninja system of the following...
Academy Student, Genin, Chuunin, Anbu, Special Jounin, Jounin, and Kage. More ranks are to come soon such as the 'Elder, Sannin, and Sage rank along with many more to come.

-You can pursue ninjutsu techniques of two of the five basic elements and in special cases three!

-You can wear custom gear to your model such as head protectors with your village's symbol on them, and chuunin and jounin vests in different colors.

-You can become a teacher once you obtain the Chuunin rank.

-You can become a 'Missing' ninja if you so wish to seek your own ambitions.

-You have complete control over your character and what elements he will pursue, his biography, along with many other things.

-You can do more then just type on a forum doing role-play and wait a long time for a response.

-You can role-play in our server with a 'Instant' response and you can do extremely in-detailed role-play.

The Specialists is a mod for the game Half-Life. The program affiliated with these games that you 'Must' download is 'Steam'. Don't know what Steam is? Neither did we at one point. Here's a link describing what Steam is.

Our Naruto Role-Play plug-ins and mods run on the game called 'The Specialists'. To install this game you first have to purchase Half-Life 1. I know what your already thinking, forget about it... It's only $10 and you get access to the Half-Life game, and many other games for a purchase of only $10!

To purchase the game Half-Life you must install Steam and create a account. After doing so run Steam, log-in to your account and right click the tray icon of steam at the bottom right of your screen. Highlight the 'Store' option and click it. It'll then open a window showing you a navigation bar on the left along with new releases, update news, etc...
At the top left of the window it shows a search bar, click that search bar and type in "Half-Life".
After the results have popped up click on the one with the title "Half-Life". It has a description under it saying it was released Nov 19, 1998 with a metascore of 96. After you click on it it'll take you to a new page to add it to your cart. Add it to your cart and then click "Purchase for Myself". It's going to ask you for your credit card credentials so you have to be ABSOLUTELY sure there are no virus's on your computer at the time that will compromise your credit card information. If your sure proceed through check-out and purchase it.

Once you've purchased the Half-Life game and have downloaded it it gives you access to 'TONS' of other games, The Specialists being one of them that you can get for free. So after you've purchased and downloaded Half-Life go to

Download and install that game but first you have to launch the half-life game and join at least one server. The game won't be able to install until you do that for some reason... After you do do that run the program and it'll ask you where to install it. In case its not set on the right location the location you want to install it to is \Steam\Steamapps\<acctname>\half-life\

Most peoples location for the steam folder would be
c:\program files\steam\steamapps\<acctname>\half-life
That's where you install the game to.

Once you've installed The Specialists launch the game and hit the ` button. It'll open your console up. In this console type the following commands to make sure your game has its best performance.
Enter in one command after another.
rate 25000
cl_rate 20000
cl_updaterate 101
cl_cmdrate 101

After you've typed that in type into the console the following
connect 72.80.174.209:27012

It'll then connect you to the role-play server where you'll be able to control your person, run around, role-play, work on jutsu's, etc...

Also for any other information such as maps or how to download and install custom models just browse these forum's and you'll find it. (Custom Models is a player's custom appearance that he/she created)
