Kody knew that in the new Konoha, he was going to have to fight as much as he can. And because of this, he was going to have to train non stop for all the jutsus he had ever wanted. He sighed as he had a comically oversized backback full of bamboo dummies. He set it down and the thing practically exploded. However, to his luck, one managed to stick into the ground about 4 meters away from the backpack. He grinned and got ready to go and train himself some jutsus. He stood ready to attack the dummy. First up was Kage Buyou.

Name: Kage Buyou - Shadow Dance
Type: Taijutsu
Rank: C
Requirements: None
Description: This taijutsu technique is utilized to get behind your opponent in mid-air. The user would usually kick their opponent upward from a low position, launching them into the air, and follow them using this jutsu. They will appear right behind the target, repeating their position like a shadow. From there, a number of attack options is presented to the user.

Name: Hayabusa Otoshi - Peregrine Falcon Drop
Type: Taijutsu
Rank: C
Requirements: None
Description: A rather simple move that can only be used under certain conditions. The user will attempt to grab their opponent from behind while the latter are in the air and lock their ankles around their neck, restricting movement to a degree, while also grabbing them with their arms. They will then change position in the air so that the opponent is falling towards the ground head first. The point of this technique is to slam the enemy's head into the ground at a high speed. While quite deadly, this technique is hard to initiate and not that hard to break out of.

He already knew how to use the set up move, but after that he had no ability to follow up with anything. It was depressing. He was going to observe the angle of how he kicked as to know exactly how to do get under an airborne target. Such was the way of the Kage Buyou. He disappeared with great speed and reappeared right underneath the dummy. He kicked the thing with great force up into the air. He observed the angle, but it fell and broke too fast to get enough information. He had no choice but to repeat his actions now.

He set up another dummy and decided to be more careful on his observations. What he did observe, was that his kick could keep an enemy high in the air for about 6 seconds. So therefore, he concluded that it would require about 4 more kicks to get a decent observation and another 2 to get the technique right. He smirked and decided that if not that he would need to work even harder on his strength and speed. He may want to consider that more now that the going was about to get tough. He quickly repeated his actions from earlier and observed the effect yet again. Noting that it was still the same 6 seconds.

He nodded and tried to put the angle and time together to decide his technique for the Kage Buyou. However he couldn't decide, not enough information from the notes he just took. He sighed and set up yet another training dummy. He then did his thing with Konoha Senpuu. He looked at it with a noting eye, taking the note that it flattened out to zero degrees at about 2 seconds and then declines at 5. He nodded and set up some more dummies before repeating again. He sigh once more, how ironic he was taking notes now. Who was he now? Shikamaru Nara? He chuckled, not even he would bother learning such a jutsu. He nodded and started putting the notes together.

He shook his head and sigh. There still wasn't enough. He quickly kicked another dummy into the air and observed. Getting as much info as he could. He continued adding his notes together. This time he noted that once in the air, the head is facing upward but at the leveling the dummy regains its head level as well. He sighed and knew of two ideas at this point. He kicked up one more and noted a few last minute things. There is a moderate midair spin for about 18 degrees turn. He added all of this together and got his method. He sighed and mentally prepared his moves.

After a long deep sigh, he nodded his head to show himself he was ready. Quickly, he kicked the dummy into the air, it was time to follow up with this. He kicked off of the ground and got directly behind the airborne dummy. However he didn't take into consideration the slight turn, in which if the opponent had anybrain at all, they would easily exploit to counteract the attack. He wraped around and push the dummy into the ground and stumbled as the bamboo snapped under his feet. He stepped off and recalculated the turn and was now going to get the Kage Buyou right.

He took one last deep breath, as he was going to put as much effort into the move as he could. He seemed to disappear and was now running circles around the wooden structure. He shifted under it and brought up his leg, cracking the chin with his heel. He then put his caculations to good use. He kicked off the ground as if invisible and was behind the dummy changing his posistion to fit the turn. He had got it! He finished up the combo by shooting the dummy into the ground with a kick. He then stuck the landing.

After a decent nap on a tree branch, Kody got down from the tree he slept in and had some snacks from the bottom of the backpack he brought. It was amazing how he had been able to fit them in the overstuffed bag. They were nice healthy granola bars and he sighed as he ate them. He knew he should have packed ramen. He got up and looked at the other 12 dummies, he spent sooo much money on them. He coughed a little and decided that even he wouldn't believe he was sick. It was time to learn the next move.

He had the two set up moves but now he had to shift his weight when using Kage Buyou to get a proper aerial setup. He kicked the next victim into the air and shifted right behind it. He tried to turn his wieght but he couldn't and his back hit the ground. He cringed a little. Taijutsu was a tough thing to use. He sighed and got up, popping the stitches out of his back which was now in pain. He had learned from that tiny incident. Never think you'll get it right away, or you'll injure your back. As soon as he stopped hurting from that little mishap, he got right back to his hands on training. It was going to be rough.

Kody got up and kicked the dummy into the air, trying to shift his weight as soon as he got off the ground. However, it was another failed attempt. He landed on the ground hard and his leg felt weak now. He groaned and checked out his leg. After a thorough inspection he felt he was fine. However, he would probably break something if he didn't figure out a trick to get it right. But it was a tricky one since he had just learned how to use Kage Buyou, it was still hard to manipulate. But he would have to figure out another trick in order to learn his new technique.
