Her choices in clothing normally come from her desire to be comfortable. It’s not uncommon for her to be in something that another girl would burn, so fashion obviously isn’t important to her. She can often be seen in rather loose shirts and tight shorts in muted colors. Her shorts are normally a light shade of brown while her shirt is a dusty tan color. Akina doesn’t normally care about matching, and it can easily be seen when you look at her outfit as a whole. On her feet she wears the standard ninja sandals in a bright green, and they’re more often than not covered in dirt. In order to carry all of her weapons and supplies, she wears a blue pouch strapped around her left thigh.

Race: Caucasian. She has fair skin even with where she lives. It’s more common for her to burn than tan.
Hair: Her hair is a dark shade of brown, and she often wears it down and loose. It falls just past her shoulders and is naturally straight. Akina wears her pink forehead protector in her hair in order to keep her long bangs out of her face, but she still often ends up with loose strands on her forehead. She rarely bothers with it, but she does at least keep it clean and brushed.

Akina is a very stubborn, headstrong person. She often challenges or even completely ignores orders, and can be rather difficult to deal with. Her patience is equivalent to that of a child, so she has developed the habit of irritating others until she gets whatever it is that she wants. And if that doesn’t work, she thinks nothing of punching a stranger or even a fellow teammate in the face. She’s easily frustrated, so it is common for her to blow up after failing at something. It almost seems as though her emotions haven’t caught up to her age.
Although she tends to act like a child, Akina is rather intelligent. When in a combat situation, she truly does kick it up a notch. Her ability to analyze both her own and her opponent’s moves assists her when fighting. It’s rare for her to attack without considering all of the pros and cons of her actions. But when she is under a high amount of stress, she can get a bit reckless.

Description: Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.

Description: Henge no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents. However, it does not grant one the properties of said objects or skills of that person, meaning turning into a weapon will not allow you to cut an opponent and turning into a dog will not give you a great sense of smell.
This technique can also be used in conjunction with someone, who may a person, a pet or a summoning creature, in which case it is called Konbi Henge (Combination Transformation). However, its principles remain the same.
Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu

Description: Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack. Naturally, it won't work with another person unless their skill gap is enormous, and the object to replace oneself with must be close in size and weight to the ninja themselves. This technique must be set up a little ahead when fighting skilled opponents, otherwise, you may end up getting struck because you wouldn't have enough time to use it.

Name: Shousen Jutsu - Mystical Hand Technique

Description: This technique is the very basis of medical ninjutsu as it is. Concentrating chakra to their hands and putting them against the patient, the medical shinobi will heal them. Of course, the body does not just magically restore itself under the effect of their chakra, but they do use their chakra to sew up wounds, heal illness, improve blood flow, negate poison and boost tissue regeneration a lot - in other words, everything that deals with medicine. Naturally, this technique is more effective when used by a medic with more skill.

Description: A skill that every self-respecting shinobi must have. It is based on concentrating chakra to the soles of one's feet and using it to stick to objects, which would allow one to walk on vertical surfaces and even upside down. This is also often used as chakra control training, since the soles of the feet are said to be the hardest place to control your chakra.

Description: Chakra scalpel is one of the few offensive techniques used by medical ninja. It concentrates chakra to the palm in order to cut. However, it's initial use was purely surgical, as it allowed one to perform difficult operations with much greater precision and less risk by cutting with chakra. It can easily work through skin, without applying any external damage. Of course, in a fight, such refined chakra control is rarely an option, so it is used as a blade weapon would be.
Background:
Akina was born in the Sand Village to Minoru and Chika Miyagi. The roles in her household were definitely unorthodox, but they functioned all right. Chika, her mother, was a ninja and her father, Minoru, stayed at home to watch Akina. Being an only child, Akina never had to worry about not getting what she wanted. Her family was well off money wise, and she had no one to compete with for the attention of her parents. Everything revolved around her up until the time she entered the academy.
It was a given that she would one day train to be a ninja. Both of her parents supported the idea and pretty much forced her into it. Akina, on the other hand, wanted nothing more than to continue being a spoiled princess. For her first few years at the academy she preferred socializing over learning the material. She didn’t really want to be there in the first place, so she just goofed off instead. But after multiple poor report cards, her parents decided her slacking off wouldn’t be tolerated. They made sure that by the time she graduated she would be capable of passing the exams with ease.
