It had been a few days since Yasuo had discovered his ability to manipulate lightning chakra, since then he had spent a great deal of his time in the library and if he was ever elsewhere it was out in the village assisting in the reconstruction. It had taken the Tsuchikage much longer than he had anticipated to find information on raiton techniques, but perhaps he should have expected as much, after all raiton was not a very common element within the walls of Iwagakure. Regardless, Yasuo had finally succeeded, after days of flicking through dusty old tomes he had found one which would help him greatly in taking full advantage of his new ability.
The next day he could be found back again at his favourite training spot which was now heavily scorched and bore the scars of his previous visit, Yasuo sighed as he surveyed the surroundings "I suppose it's a good thing this training field is disused..." He thought to himself and lifted up the old book on lightning techniques to re-read what he had glanced over the previous day. Lightning Strike Armour...A seemingly simple technique to execute but one which could prove to be very useful. Yasuo closed his eyes for a second and breathed slow, then as his eyes snapped open lightning sparked and sizzled all over his body, Yasuo smiled and looked himself over before balling his hand into a fist and dispersing the lightning.

As the lightning pulsed through Yasuo's hand he smiled, his eyes darted over to a short slice of text in the book and then back to his fist which was still alive with electricity and he chuckled as he held out his hand as if holding something. Suddenly the charge around the sage's hand extended and eventually a large beast was created at the end of the 'leash'. Yasuo was pleased with his success and the wolf began to move around the area smashing through a few trees before eventually coming to a stop before the kage who observed the lightning wolf "Very good" He said with a smile as it dispersed.

The next technique however, Yasuo could tell without even trying would be much more difficult to perfect than the two he had just mastered, the lightning dragon tornado appeared to be a very formidable technique. The young kage creased his brow and slowly shut the old book, though not without marking the page he had been on by creasing down the corner of the paper. Yasuo then placed the tome in a small pouch attached to his waist and for a few seconds after didn't make a moved, he simply stood still and breathed slowly. Then, quickly he began to make hand seals and concentrate his chakra.

The kage focussed on manipulating his chakra in the correct fashion as he gathered it, making sure he had not only the elemental composition necessary but also the shape manipulation. Yasuo's brow creased with concentration and then as he reached the end of his string of hand seals "Raiton: Rairyu no Tatsumaki!" He declared and a tornado of lightning erupted about him with a dragon slowly beginning to form out of it. Although, no sooner had Yasuo seen the dragon than it fizzled out of existence, the sage huffed and rubbed his forehead, a rookie mistake, he had concentrated too much on manipulation and had not put enough chakra into the jutsu for it to succeed.

The youth knew what to do now though and he slowly lowered his hand from his face, a small smile could be seen playing on his lips and it gradually grew as the Tsuchikage began his hand seals once more. Yasuo knew what he was doing now, he had made a simple mistake in his previous attempt but now the way was clear, once again his brow creased with concentration though this time not only did he make sure that he had the shape and formation of the dragon correct but also that he fueled it with enough chakra. Then, once again "Raiton: Rairyu no Tatsumaki!" Yasuo said this much more confidently this time and as soon as the tornado of electricity erupted about him he knew he had succeeded, quickly the lightning formed into the large head of a dragon which stared round at its surroundings before eventually dissipating and leaving a rather pleased young man where it had been.

Yasuo stood in the centre of a black circle which marked where his lightning tornado had scorched the ground, he oserved his surroundings and sighed, he really had done a number on the place. Perhaps it would be a good idea to find somewhere new to train? Somewhere more resistant to the trials and tribulations of a kage, but for now at least the area would have to do. The next technique was something special, it somewhat reminded him of his elemental Limit Break in that it was a whip of elemental chakra, in this case; raiton. Yasuo raised out one hand and concentrated his chakra into it, then he swung out to the side, immediately a long stream of lightning appeared and Yasuo found he could easily control it. The kage smiled and the electricity dispersed.

Yasuo took a few steps away rom his curent position and moved closer to the damaged forest where he had discovered his affinity for lightning a few days prior. The sage sighed as he rand his hand down the scorched bark of a split tree, split by a bolt of lightning he had inadvertenly summoned down from the sky. Yasuo began to think over the techniques he had mastered since then, his favourite was the dragon tornado, and this got him thinking, 'what would a katon element version be like? The kage imagined the power of such a technique, for it would be powerful, and smiled.

The kage then moved back away from the trees, it would do no good to be practicing a fire element technique so close to trees which could easily catch fire and cause a rather large problem for a village which already had too many. Yasuo slowly brought his two hands together and began to channel his chakra, he concentrated as he had done with Rairyuu no Tatsumaki and he also made sure he gave a good amount of chakra. Then as he came to the end of his hand seals "Katon: Karyuu Batsu!" He had throught of this name on the spot the 'fire dragon barrage' seemed to fit quite well. A large ring of searing hot flame now flared into life around the kage, but just as quickly, it exstinguished.

Yasuo's eyes opened wide as he looked around himself, the jutsu had failed, he was confused but a moment later it struck him. This jutsu obviously used alot more chakra than he had initially suspected, the sage hoped it would be worth the drain and clapped his hands together again as he once more made the hand seals of his new jutsu. This time the kage used more chakra and as teh ring of fire once again appeared, it did not exstinguish, instead it got hotter and hotter, defending him while a huge and intimidating dragon head of unimaginably hot flame appeared from behind him. Yasuo felt that he needed to see the effects of the jutsu and directed it down to the floor a few feet away, he did not expect the results; The dragon burned straight through the ground, leaving a huge tunnel of white hot rock.

The Tsuchikage returned to his training spot with a foul expression on his face, Seiko had just left him to become stronger in the face of an ever present threat and now the kage was left in the dark. He only knew that Tamotsu was at a new level of instability, that he may truly turn to darkness once again, the sage sighed, he had come here now to train, if Seiko could stand to get stronger then so could he. Yasuo thought back to a page in his old tome; a very powerful jutsu with the strength to rip straight through a ninja's body, Yasuo grunted and began a string of hand seals.
