About Basic Jutsu

It's stated when you become a Chunnin or over, you get the basic jutsus as the following listed:

Art of water walking
Tree climbing
Clone
Body Switch
Rope untying
Genjutsu release

I wasn't sure, but I was only checking since a lot of rules are topsy turvy and I didn't want to start a Rank Training post unless I had full details, but if I decide to do the post I want to know if since I'd prefer to learn these before I start or if I'm going to waste time if I automatically gain them when (if) Selena ranks up.

All but Genjustu Kai I think. It's labeled basic, but only for those who are good with genjutsu or chakra control. Once agian, I think.

Thats only if u use rank up. If you're taking the chuunin exams you need to learn these techniques before you can enter the exams.

Actually the rule has changed for that. All those jutsu will be learned automatically upon becoming chuunin.

No. If you ranked up during the Chuunin Exams, you must learn the basics. If you Rank-trained, then you must learn them. If you bought a Rank-up, then you automatically gain them.

I do believe that the Tree Climbing is "Kinobori no Waza" actually. Razz

And Water Walking is "Suimen Hokou no Waza".
