Tsuchimaru was in his home. It wasn't very big as only he lived there. It was about 200 square feet and had small bathroom in it. His bed was a small mattress and had a red and green striped pillow and a sheet with the kanji for "wind" on it. He got dressed in his black t-shirt and black jeans. He also put on his black trench coat and his giant fan on his back. He left to go do some training in the Cloud Coast of the village. This is how he preferred to train, however, should anyone wants to train with him, and he would not be against it.

It took him about an hour to get ready, and he quickly walked out the door. He was trying to figure out where he wanted to go. He knew he was headed to the Cloud Coast, but there were many places. He figured that he would go there and whatever happens happens.

Tsuchimaru left the village and headed to the Clouded Coast. As he was walking, he ran into a mysterious old man.

“Hey old man,” Tsuchimaru asked as the old man stood up from whatever he was doing. Tsuchimaru noticed that the old man had a pack on his left hip.

“Oh I am just out checking some stuff out here,” The old man said in a raspy voice as he examined Tsuchimaru very closely. “I see you are a ninja. So am I.”

Tsuchimaru was now cautious as he wasn’t sure what he was up to. “I see that by that hip pouch,” Tsuchimaru said in a calm voice. He didn’t want to make it look like he was nervous. He didn’t know what this old man was capable of, so he had to make sure.

“I am Arave Nite, S-Rank Chunin of the Village Hidden in the Clouds. I am willing to train you, if you want?”

Tsuchimaru was sure he could trust the old man, so he nodded.

The old man wore a black and red gi and looked to be in his prime. He had short gray hair and was tall and muscular. His skin was dark and he had a beard that was long and braided. His mustache was long as well. You could tell this is the one guy you wanted on your side in battle.
Tsuchimaru couldn’t believe that this man is only a Chunin. He was glad to train under this man. “Alright where do we begin sir?”

Arave laughed, “WE don’t start anywhere. You start by running 4 miles.”
Tsuchimaru was alright with that. Nothing beat a good warm up.

Right as Tsuchimaru got ready to start running Arave had one more thing to say. “Oh ya, you have to do it while being chased by these,” Arave used the Summoning Jutsu to summon a swarm of hornets. They were purple and the stingers were two inches long.

Tsuchimaru cussed under his breath. He was dreadfully afraid of bees, wasps, and other insects of that nature. He wanted to blow them away right now, but knew that would be a very bad idea.

“You ready kid?” Arave got ready to send his summons.

Tsuchimaru nodded and Arave sent his hornets right at him. Tsuchimaru broke out into a sprint to get away from the hornets. He could hold the sprint for a few minutes, but eventually the hornets caught up. Tsuchimaru used the Sakugen Me to blow them away, and allow him to get some distance. The only reason they were blown away was because the hornets were so small. He sealed his eyes back up and continued the run.

When he got half way through, he didn’t see the hornets. He didn’t let his guard down however. He knew Arave had something up his sleeve. As soon as he passed Arave for the last time, Arave aimed a punch square to the face. Tsuchimaru dodged it, but Arave struck again. This time was in the gut and Tsuchimaru went flying against a tree.

“That was for my hornets,” Arave helped Tsuchimaru up. “Next is combat practice.”

“I am going to have you fight my most powerful summon and you can use any jutsu you have. The only catch is that you can only use each jutsu THREE times,” Arave said as he summoned a giant hornet. “This is Sanyosho, the master hornet.”

Tsuchimaru gulped in shock. The hornet was about 6 feet tall and had a two foot long stinger. It was black and white and red eyes. Its wing span was six feet.

“I have to fight that,” Tsuchimaru said as he got ready.

The hornet got in his position about three feet away. “You're not afraid of a flying insect are you?”
“I will not lie. I am extremely afraid, but I will do my best,” Tsuchimaru said as he grabbed his fan.

He knew that his fan was the secret to the fight, as he could use his weapon as many times as he wants to, and he was already limited in use to his doujutsu. He could only use it two more times, then he can't use his jutsu anymore.

Sanyosho made the first attack by firing stingers from its abdomen. Tsuchimaru swung his fan to blow them away, but some of them did hit him. It was like a real bad sunburn, but they weren't poisonous.

Tsuchimaru jumped back a few feet and drew the symbol for fire on his hand and pressed it, “Symbol Destruction Jutsu.” A small stream of fire came shooting out. Tsuchimaru moved as close as he could with the intense flame.

It faded out after a few seconds, but it did what he wanted it to do. He needed it to move the giant hornet back far enough so that he could get some distance between them.

The giant hornet charged at Tsuchimaru, “Stinger Barrage Jutsu!!!!” Sanyosho fired one thousand needles from its mouth, and abdomen. The needles were about a millimeter in length, but were fired at twenty miles an hour.

Tsuchimaru used the Replacement Jutsu with a rock that was nearby. Tsuchimaru was behind a pile of rocks about three yards away. Tsuchimaru showed himself and ran at the hornet, and used the Clone Jutsu to create three clones.

Sanyosho used the Stinger Barrage Jutsu again, but it only hit the clones and the real Tsuchimaru used his fan to blow the rest of them away.

Right as Tsuchimaru was about to activate his Supekutorugan, Arave stepped in. “Stage 1 of Combat practice is complete.”

“What do you mean? Stage 1 is complete,” Tsuchimaru stood baffled. This was a weird type of training, but if it will get him stronger, then so be it.

“What I mean is that there are three stages to my combat,” Arave said as he walked up to Tsuchimaru. He handed Tsuchimaru a pill that would fully recover his chakra.

Tsuchimaru took the pill and felt much better. “Thanks, but now lets get onto Stage 2. I want to finish this training ASAP.”

Arave nodded, “OK kid, the Stage 2 is a battle between Sanyosho and the swarm from earlier.” He summoned the swarm from earlier. This time they looked meaner and more ready to fight than ever.

Tsuchimaru shrugged, “As much as I hate those things, I love a good fight.”

Tsuchimaru took his spot like last time, as did Sanyosho and The Swarm. For some reason, the air was tenser than normal and the clouds were rolling in.

This was gonna be something of legends and that he knew.

The Swarm fired needles, but Tsuchimaru blew those away with his fan. However, this was a distraction. The Swarm acted as decoys to give Sanyosho a close shot with its Stinger Barrage. Tsuchimaru used his Replacement Jutsu to dodge, and came back with his Supekutorugan activated.
“A Kekkei Genkai eh?” Sanyosho said and he sounded stunned.

“What? You've never faced a Kekkei Genkai,” Tsuchimaru laughed as he said that.

“I have, but lets resume,” Sanyosho said as Tsuchimaru nodded. “Insect Art: Swarm of 1000 Stings!!!!” The Swarm made a circle around Tsuchimaru and charged him, stingers in front.

Tsuchimaru created four clones and a replacement to dodge the attack. He replaced with a hornet for The Swarm, which surprised Sanyosho. As he returned, Tsuchimaru unleashed a Symbol Destruction Jutsu, this time it was Metal and it was a Fuuma Shuriken. The shuriken was thrown at The Swarm, and they quickly scattered.

“Stinger Barrage Jutsu!!!!” Sanyosho fired one thousand needles from its mouth, and abdomen. They were all aimed at his arms, but Tsuchimaru used his Sakugen Me to blow them away.
Tsuchimaru had used it twice to blow them all away and left him exhausted, but he wasn't gonna gonna give up.

Arave came up to Tsuchimaru, but Tsuchimaru wasn't gonna have what Arave's gonna say.

“Leave me alone,” Tsuchimaru said as he pulled his fan out. “Even if I can't use jutsu, I still have my fan, and that's all I am gonna need. This fan is gonna make you wish you were never summoned, Sanyosho.”

“Gutsy,” Sanyosho said as The Swarm came charging at Tsuchimaru.

Tsuchimaru got up and swung his fan with all of his might. The Swarm poofed back to the Summoning World. He then jumped above Sanyosho and raveled the fan back up and hit the hornet with the fan. The hornet, being worn out from all the battles, poofed back to Summoning World.

Tsuchimaru passed out from exhaustion, but fifteen minutes later he woke up.

“Stage 2 is complete, and I gave you another chakra pill as the final stage of your training is a match with me,” Arave said as he removed his shirt. Revealing a very muscular individual.

“Well I have come this far?” Tsuchimaru got up and took his position for the final time.
