A Messenger awaits

The messenger walked through the streets of Sunagakure, looking for the legendray sannin known as Eric Hatake, he looked around going into one of the ramne shops. No one had any information the sannin and he sighed, "Lady Reileyn gave me an impossible task." He sighed as he walked around the sandy streets. He sighed softly sitting on a bench in the shade.

He looked up into the sky sighing, "MAn...its like looking for a needle in a haystack. Oh mr.Hatake you out there??"

A blade was pressed against the messengers throat. Out of the shadow's of the shady tree Eric Hatake stepped out. "I'd be more careful if I were you, Oto shinobi." he said, the blade barely touching the messengers neck. "Espically using my name. You could have drawn out a lot more unwanted attention than myself. Be careful. Now you have 30 seconds to tell me what you want before I slit your throat." He hissed in the shinobi's ears.

"Be warned, I'm a bad count. 1......2......3......19......21......"

The messenger gasped, "I have a message for you from the Otokage." He handed Eric the scroll. He was shaking badly not ready to die since Oto had so few shinobi. He liked the new kage, she was nice and caring.

Eric,
I need you to come to Otogakure. I wish to speak to you about our marriage. I know things haven't worked out well. I have been promoted to Otokage. Please don't harm the messenger. I await your answer.

The messenger took a deep breath wondering what he was going to do.

"You're lucky she specifically said to not kill the messenger. Or else I might have killed you anyways." Eric muttered as he pushed the shinobi away. After the shinobi had scramed, he sat down and thoroughly read the scroll. He combined it with the information he recieved earlier from his Kage Bunshin. He had to swallow his pride and accept this offer. She wanted to talk about their marriage, a VERY sore spot to him. He wasn't proud of himself at that moment, and he wondered what she wanted to say about it.

So with a sigh, he grabbed his traveling bag and headed to Oto, before returning back here to pick something up for a simple delivery mission.
